Situated in the North of Europe, Lithuania is the biggest of the Baltic States with 3 million inhabitants. First of the Baltic States to gain its independence in 1990 after 50 years of Russian occupation, it has been a member of the European Union since 2004 and of the Eurozone since 2015. Its RFT sector benefits from the Russian speaking markets in its vicinity which propel the flag to a very high ranking in European international RFT activity.
